KH SERIES from Wharfedale is designed with semi-professional applications
in mind. The high power-handling, and remarkable sensitivity coupled with
overload protection make them ideal for use in large home theatre applications,
or for live performance, either in a public address or karaoke system.
Designed using the cumulative knowledge of over seventy years of designing
such systems, the KH series is remarkable in delivery, solid in build
and attractive in styling.
Quality
and power are the two core requirements of any loudspeaker system. In
some semi-professional applications, however, there are further specific
requirements. In public address speakers, or those used in Karaoke systems,
the vocal range must be exceptionally well integrated. In most
loudspeaker systems the frequency at which the loudspeakers changes from
the tweeter (high frequency) to the woofers (low frequency) is right in
the middle of the vocal range. This also happens to be the frequency at
which the human ear is most sensitive.
In the KH series, Wharfedale has carefully engineered the ‘crossover
region’ to produce a phase-consistent and linear response. This
gives the KH series a pure, natural sound with unbelievable clarity.
The KH also has a much higher than average sensitivity. This means, that
for every watt of music power fed into them, they are louder and more
dynamic. This is combined with advanced overload protection to ensure
that your speakers are powerful enough for even the loudest reproduction.
Tweeters
have PTC ‘auto-resetting’ circuits to protect from microphone
overload.

Wall Mount Speaker - KH 1000 / KH 1200
Both speakers can be wall mounted by using brackets included in the carton box, or can be hung with standard ceiling mount hardware using 2 bolts in the top panel. A Tri-polar style cabinet enables symmetrical sound dispersion to produce a wide, dramatic sound field. They can be used as main or rear effect speakers. All tweeters have PTC ‘auto-resetting’ protection circuit to prevent overload from microphone abuse. Available in pairs and supplied with fixed metal grille.
KH 1000
KH 1200
KH 2210 is a powerful floor standing model ideal for larger rooms. 25mm textile tweeters feature auto-resetting protection in case of accidental overload. This model use a bi-wireable terminal panel with four terminal posts as shown on the left. Using separate cables for treble and bass units will reduce intermodulation effects and improves clarity. We suggest that these speakers are positioned at least 200mm from the rear walls and 700mm from the sidewalls. Supplied with fixed metal grilles.
